Yinshi (also known as Madam Yin in the novel) is Nataku's wonderful and lovely mother. She is very kind and loving. She is also quite supportive of Nataku (even when he killed that dragon). She has brown hair that she puts up into two rather large buns, big blue eyes, gold hoop earrings, and a modest purple dress. She's a very pretty lady with a wonderful personality. Sometimes she acts a little clueless and can be very sentimental; especially when Nataku called her mother for the first time. She loves both Nataku and Li Sei very very much, and tends to act as a referee of sorts between them. Whenever Nataku never listens to anyone else, he'll always listen to her because he loves her very much and she always cared for him when he was growing up. She fed him, schooled him, played with him, etc.Unfortunately, in the novel, she wasn't as great of a mother. When Nataku killed the dragon, she yelled at Nataku with Li Sei! Talk about different. As for my opinion of her, I love her! She's such a great mother. I wish my Mom was like that. She's one in-law that I wouldn't mind having. ^-^ Note: In Japanese, there's no "Yi", so that's why she's actually/literally called Inshi in Japanese. | |
